The recipient of this year's Smitiuch Injury Law Assumption College Legal Studies scholarship is Ms. Cassidy Rathwell.

This year's winner was announced on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 during her graduating ceremonies held at Assumption College in Brantford, ON. The $250 scholarship is awarded to a student of Assumption College who has successfully completed the legal studies course during the 2009-2010 academic year. In addition, this student must be well-rounded, both academically and in their extra-curricular involvement. Ms. Rathwell will be attending the University of Guelph in the fall and intends to study Criminal Justice.

This is the first year Smitiuch Injury Law has given a scholarship to a student at Assumption College and the firm looks forward to granting scholarships to deserving students at the school in the future.
