Full Story:
Former Smitiuch Injury Law summer student Mr. Peter Cho rejoins the firm to complete the final phase of his lengthy, arduous legal career training; a ten month articling position with the firm under Michael Smitiuch's tutelage is all that separates this fresh law school graduate from finally being able to embrace the designation of being a "lawyer".
Peter's post-secondary education began at the University of Toronto where he completed an HBA in Economics and Political Science. After completion of his undergraduate degree, he attended Osgoode Hall Law School at York University, where he completed his Juris Doctor. During his three years at law school, he was a writer for the Osgoode Hall Newspaper, an Executive of the Korean Law Students Association, involved in the Osgoode Hall Law Union, and a member of Pro Bono Students Canada. Furthermore, he was a caseworker for Legal Aid Ontario; he volunteered at Parkdale and Rexdale Community Legal Services in Toronto, within the Social Assistance Violence and Health division.
The choice to become a lawyer was a logical one for Peter. He enjoys the art of debate and argumentation. As well, he sought after a career where he would have the ability to help and fight for the rights of others.
In his downtime, Peter enjoys playing basketball and golf, watching movies, travelling, and listening to music.
