Smitiuch Injury Law Professional Corporation is pleased to announce that once again they will be sponsoring the 2009 St. John's College Legal Studies Scholarship.

The $1000 scholarship will be awarded to a student of St. John’s College in Brantford, ON who has successfully completed the legal studies course during the 2008 – 2009 academic year. In addition, the recipient must also demonstrate academic and extra-curricular excellence and is furthering their education at a post-secondary institution.

This year’s winner will be announced on June 29, 2009 during the St. John's College graduation ceremonies which will be held at the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts in Brantford, ON.

The $1,000 annual scholarship was established in 2006 by Smitiuch Injury Law’s Managing Partner, Michael Smitiuch, and Litigation Coordinator, Arthur Ryan. Both Mr. Smitiuch and Mr. Ryan are graduates of St. John's College. Mr. Ryan was valedvictorian of his graduating class.

The winner of last year’s 2008 scholarship was Miss. Brenna Staats.
