The Law Society of Upper Canada’s Continuing Legal Education department is hosting a conference on March 3, 2009, titled "Personal Injury Litigation for Law Clerks - From Discovery to Trial". This conference will cover practical advice on preparing for examinations for discovery, interviewing lay witnesses, and marshalling demonstrative evidence in personal injury cases. The speakers will share their best practices on the key steps to take in the final countdown to trial day from the plaintiff and defence perspectives.

Michael Smitiuch will be one of the presenters at the conference and he will be speaking on the topic of,”Preparing PowerPoint Presentations for Mediation”.

The seminar will take place on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Law Society of Upper Canada in the Donald Lamont Learning Centre.
