The recipient of this year’s Smitiuch Injury Law St. John's College Legal Studies scholarship is Mr. Mark DiGiandomenico.
This year’s winner was announced on June 29, 2009 during the St. John's College graduation ceremonies held at the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts in Brantford, ON.
The $1000 scholarship is awarded to a student of St. John’s College in Brantford, ON who has successfully completed the legal studies course during the 2008 – 2009 academic year. In addition, the recipient must also demonstrate academic and extra-curricular excellence and is furthering their education at a post-secondary institution.
The $1,000 annual scholarship was established in 2006 by Smitiuch Injury Law’s Managing Partner, Michael Smitiuch, and Litigation Coordinator, Arthur Ryan. Both Mr. Smitiuch and Mr. Ryan are graduates of St. John's College. Mr. Ryan was valedvictorian of his graduating class.
The winner of last year’s 2008 scholarship was Miss. Brenna Staats.
